Our Loss
These paintings were made directly after the 2016 election and into 2017. For me, form follows function and after making work that had painted and sculptural elements I needed to paint fast and looser to help me express the terrible loss, fear and shock I felt when Trump won the election.
There is almost always humor in my work and I tried to make these images funny as well as sad.
